Remic Rapids Along Ottawa River

Remic rapids

Remic Rapids along Ottawa River made by John Felicè Ceprano make Ottawa River not only beautiful but also more fascinating with these beautiful rock art.  John Felice Ceprano is the "Master" behind this awesome iconic rock sculpture.
It began when John Felice Ceprano was cycling and found the spot accidentally. If you are interested in this "Art of Balance", you may find Ceprano during Summer where he can spend almost 13 hours a day making these balanced rock art.

Remic Rapids Rock Art:

Just drive along Sir John A Macdonald Parkway in the capital city, Ottawa.  You can see the sign "Remic Rapids" on the right. You can also bike along the trail, see the sunset or admiring Champlain Bridge and Bate Island where you can see more Remic Rapids sculptures. Besides seeing this Remic Rapids, you can also enjoy the scenery of Ottawa River and Alexandra Bridge, and some small bridges that connect city of Ottawa to Gatineau, Quebec Province.

Another "attraction" along this serene Ottawa River is Canada Geese. Those Goose (Geese) play along the river, swimming and make sound. You can also find some benches along the river.  During Summer, when the weather is nice, people used to spend time in the beach not far from the Remic Rapids. It will be a bit crowded, though. But there are some spots which are still good for panoramic view and taking pictures.
