To apply Schengen Visa From Canada is not difficult.  If you are staying in Canada with Permanent Resident Status and would like to vacate, a holiday to Europe, you need to apply Schengen Visa. Another case, you also need to apply Schengen Visa while staying in Canada visiting family or relatives and you have a sudden plan to go to Europe.

Secondly, there are many websites in search engine which gave some informations about how to apply Schengen Visa from Canada, and you have to be careful since not all those information are correct! I was almost misled!

• Call the Embassy of the country that you want to go in Europe. This Embassy is the embassy of the country in Europe as your main visit. For example, if you are residing in Ottawa, and your main destination in Europe is Netherlands, then you have to call Netherlands Embassy in Ottawa. 
• Ask their website or even ask by phone how to apply Schengen Visa and where the interview will be conducted. Prior to get the visa, you must be interviewed.  And the place of interview sometimes is different from the place of your residing now.  For example, some embassies will conduct the interview in Toronto or Montreal while you are residing in Ottawa. Then you have to go there. Do not 100% believe the information from the website. I looked the website of Schengen Visa saying that the interview will be conducted in Toronto. After calling the Netherlands Embassy, they told me that the interview will be conducted in Ottawa.

Some websites give wrong information about the place when conducting interview. And the most important thing, the Schengen Visa fee will only be paid at the Embassy when you are interviewed. Do not pay anything online!  Make sure that you speak to the right officer at the Embassy and direct information from the related Embassy. Don't be misled! Good Luck.
