Beautiful village of Westport is located in the Eastern Ontario, Canada. We "found" village of Westport accidentally when we once got lost on our way home from Toronto. We drove along Hwy 7 to town of Perth, Ontario and took a turn straight to Kanata, Ontario. However, we took a wrong direction instead. And found the beautiful village of Westport which located in the Eastern Ontario, Canada.
Village of Westport:
What makes Westport village beautiful? It is because of Westport location on the western shores of Upper Rideau Lake. You can find Westport Harbour docks which are located in the heart of the Village. It's only a walking distance to the center of the village where you can find stores, coffee & ice cream shops, gift shops as well as liquor and beer stores.
Things to do in Westport
You can also visit Museum where you can find some books even artifacts related to this historic village of Westport. The main street of this beautiful village is not wide. During Spring and Summer, you will find difficulties in finding the parking spot. However, walking along the downtown/heart of Westport village is a worth visit. Westport village is a quiet and serene place to live.
I remember, we bought a super delicious bread and cake's slice at Tea House Bakery on Church Street. The store is not too big but charming. It has patio where you can sit, relax and enjoy delicious pastries.
